"Saving Go!Anna's arse": Annie's making reference to this scene...! And of course she's going to say arse, not ass... she's an Australian! BTW... even though that plane rescue scene happened months and months ago by our time, it was only last month by Magellan reckoning.
Black Team: Panel one in today's update shows Black team... apparently no more successful than Kaycee's Blue Team. We see (l-r): Fatima (half octopus gal), Nadine (speedster), Joe (turns into gas guy) and Louis (able to jump tall buildings in a single bound boy). To understand the joke about Joe losing his clothes you'll have to go back to this scene...! You'll have to fill in the blanks yourself.
Gas-masks: There was a good question in the forum about the use of gas-maskes by Rochelle and Kaycee - here's my answer:
My thinking is that the training has a degree of simulation such that there is actually gas in the Mutex canister, although obiously it isn't Mutex. instead it would be sleep inducing and cause any cadet who might catch a wiff of it to pass out - this essentially means they've been 'exposed to Mutex' and a sixth bug-bot would be introduced into the exercise to simulate that the cadet had transmogrified into one of weevils bugs. This might happen if the gas canister is ruptured or in any number of other scenarios.
In the Chandra Scale Charisma has an invulnerability to toxins (which would include biotoxins, knock-out gases etc) - her ranking is very high, the highest one can get in fact - see her Classified sheet.
Bill has no invulnerability to toxins at all. He really should have put on a gas mask before smashing his way into the control room - even though the release of the gas is controlled via a conduit to the masks of the hostage kid-bots there's no guarentee he would not be exposed to stray whiffs of mutex whilst smashing things up in the control room. In fact, that might have happened had Spence not called a halt to the exercise after Kaycee, Sioni and Montana-Rose were already out of play.
So Rochelle and Kaycee were correctly engaging with the scenario - a tick for them, Bill would get a big cross! Charisma, being Charisma had no need for one either way.
Red Team: Charisma, Chang, Maya and Rochelle... last seen a few scenes ago in pages4.72 and 4.73.
